as we look at ocean city, misty. this is one of the parts. we can see big time snows in the mountains to the west, west of hagerstown as we go from sunday into monday or tuesday. it's that kind of nor'easter storm. more on sandy in one second and her potential track as she comes toward the east coast. 65 at the airport. winds are east at eight miles an hour. murky conditions. gray skies have been the story. we've had the easterly flow, bring manage low level moisture. that's blocked out the sun. winds are from the east. they will continue to be breezy conditions before the winds begin to ramp up and a cold front coming in on sunday. two different weather systems. temperatures are temperate. take a look. you can see the setup here. cold air will begin to wedge itself into areas west of us by saturday. this is 6:00. you sew that big shot of colder air. that will be interacting with what will be a converting storm from hurricane strength to nor'easter strength as we watch sandy coming up through the carolinas through late saturday into sunday. w

there it is, ocean city pier. it's gone. just the remaining two thirds of the oc pier, rainy, windy kind of a day, delaware, kent island. higher than normal on the bay because of that rising effect from really the full moon cycle and all the runoff from sandy. 42 at the airport, cold. the cold continues to spin. we continue to see the last effects of the storm drifting north but tomorrow will be mostly cloudy, breezy. i think we're dry by thursday. the cold air will keep funneling in. as we take one last look at it, less and less extinct. bring the big winds to the bay and bringing snows to the mountains and could, in fact, as a parting gift, bring a few wet flakes to the baltimore area. we're down to 36. it's going to be a cold night. 54 tomorrow. chilly, breezy. tomorrow night cool and dry. here's the outlook. the next few days sunshine will be the story into the middle of next weekend. we'll look for low 50s with lots of sun. on the whole, not a bad deal at all. >>> new information constantly coming into the newsroom here
